A fun “perk” of my job is seeing all the cute outfits mothers so carefully pick out for their little ones. I think this mom hit a homerun with these sweet “Caribbean” dresses. Perfect on these beautiful girls!

My client jokingly remarked “What do you get a grandma who has everything?” – Pictures WITH her grandkids! I loved the dynamic of grandma interacting with each of her 3 grandchildren – all girls!

It’s always so special to walk into a new client’s home and learn so much about them through the stories they share and the conversation pieces sometimes found in a room. On this particular shoot, this little girl’s nursery was filled with so much love from handknit outfits and blankets from adoring aunties to a handmade chest from a loving grandpa. There was a lot of sentiment and love behind all these gifts. I have no doubt this little girl is going to grow up surrounded by lots and LOTS of love!

I’ve been with this family for a long time. They just had their second child. Along with this great news was the more sobering news that they are picking up and moving to Colorado very soon! Everything they described about what lies ahead sounds AMAZING!! Just very hard to say “good-bye”. I wish them well and thank them for letting me be their “family photographer” for this chapter in their life!
