Summer Contest!

This summer I am in search for some great locations to shoot. I have my list that I’ve built over the years. However, I’d love to see what YOU can come up with! I’m looking for some place that I’ve never shot before (or at least a new undiscovered spot at an old favorite). So put your creative “caps” on and show me your style! All shoots that take place between now and August 1st will be entered into a contest to win my “Top Ten” digital collection ($900 value)! Basically, I will select my FAVORITE spot from all the shoots that take place in that timeframe. The winner will receive my “Top Ten” digital collection, ALL runner ups will receive a complimentary 8×10 print. Let the fun begin!

Blonde locks…

I loved getting this call. It was from a past client whom I had taken pics of her little girl several years back. She now has a little boy turning 3. She was desperate to get pictures taken before his first haircut in a few weeks. She wanted to “immortalize” his blonde locks before the “baby look” was gone. I have to say it was one of my all-time favorite shoots. I don’t know if it was the hair, the mood, or the great sunlight that day, but it all came together beautifully

Turning One…Let’s Celebrate!

There is something so special about a baby turning one. They’re still a baby, but a new milestone has been reached. This little girl was full of pride and joy as she showed us some of her latest moves: singing, standing, clapping, having a ball… She is also the proud winner of Gap’s baby contest for her age group. Can you say “Adorable!!”

Natural Window Light…

I had such a nice morning with this sweet family. There’s something about being invited into a home and feeling a part of the “daily routine” that is fun. Little Ana was running around having fun, upstairs and down, and we even caught a few fun ones on her “big girl” bed. The light in her bedroom was beautiful. The white bed acted as a “natural reflector”, too. You can’t get much better than that!

Full of Energy…

I love watching young children run around -especially at a wide open space like the beach. Their energy is boundless and makes for great action shots. My favorite pictures are always the ones showing motion. We had a lot of fun on this beautiful morning…
