Rain or shine…

This was an interesting morning. We started out just fine and we’re happy that it wasn’t overly bright and sunny. However, halfway into the shoot, the rain ascended on us and we ran for cover. Rather than giving up entirely, we decided to take a few indoors inside the greenhouse at the Gardens. Those actually ended up being some of the best shots… This family new how to relax and take great candid shots even in an unfamiliar, rather high traffic area… Kudos to them!:).

Holiday Cards 2010

I am excited to present my holiday card offerings for 2010!  They’re a clean, modern design with a classic monogram detail (I always love mixing the two:)).  All cards are fold out and can be printed using Art Linen paper ($3.25 each) or in Pearl finish ($3.50 each).  All must be ordered in packages of 25.

playful duo…

I love when kids move around during a shoot either oblivious that I’m there or – on the flip side – trying to entertain us all.  This cute brother and sister duo decided to “ham it up” with their fun and playful side.

Christina Ezell - Elizabeth,
All of your images are just incredible. Love the ones from the work shop as well. Maybe you will give a workshop one day? :) I would attend it!

first steps…

This shoot had an extra layer of importance for this family – their youngest’s first steps…  Not only did baby Emma take some awesome first steps, she did it with style and “flair” – poetry in motion:).

Julie Staub - These are just gorgeous! Beautiful images!

Picture Perfect…

I love shooting this particular family every year because there is a level of comfort after shooting them for so long.  The main purpose is always to get that perfect photo for the holiday card and also complete another portion of the wall gallery she has started that will “grow” with the children.  This year I noticed an “emotional” growth in the children as I shot them…a little more serious than in the past and a little more “mature”…pretty good for ages 6 and 8!:)
